Extends built-in SharePoint Hyperlink or Picture field with new options to improve link entry and display.
URL Plus Field replaces your current hyperlink or picture columns with extended functionality. You can convert your existing links into the Extended field to make use of additional features. Avoid long, ugly URLs and never lose context clicking on a link. URL Plus Field allows you to enforce link appearance in your business applications.
Features
- Prevent description editing by enforcing a specific description for all links, such as More Information or Get Help.
- Specify default value for descriptions instead of a blank one.
- Show one of 60 predefined icons instead of text, or use your own.
- Optionally choose to open all links in new windows to prevent losing context.
- Convert to and from existing built-in Hyperlink columns.
- Edit in Datasheet view when used together with Smart List Pro.
- Localized into English, French, Spanish and German.
